GROVE STREET
The Grove St. section is the heart of downtown Jersey City. Most homes are beautiful historic brick row houses and townhomes. There is much to do in the Grove St Section. Stop by the open-air farmer's market at Grove St. Plaza Mondays and Thursdays May through December to pick up a variety of local produce and crafts. Visit the pedestrian walk and restaurant row for endless dining options and local shops. The neighborhood is very walkable and bike friendly with bike lanes throughout.

PAULUS HOOK
Nestled in the Southeast Corner of Downtown along the Hudson River and Morris Canal Basin, Paulus Hook Boasts beautiful views of Liberty Harbor into Lower Manhattan. The neighborhood predominantly is comprised of historic brownstones, brick rowhouses and townhouses. This section of downtown is highly sought after for its diverse selection of restaurants with ample outdoor seating options, and its peaceful charm as well is its proximity to New York City.

POWERHOUSE ARTS DISTRICT
With its name deriving from the historic Hudson and Manhattan Railroad Powerhouse, the Powerhouse and Arts District is one of the smallest neighborhoods in Downtown Jersey City. Once full of factories and warehouses the neighborhood has revamped to include luxury towers and lofts, including The Morgan at Provost Square, 10 Provost at Provost Square, Moderna Lofts, 151 Bay St to name a few. Being Just a few minutes walk to the waterfront and the Exchange Place Path station, as well as the restaurants in Paulus Hook and Grove St add to the appeal of this neighborhood.

NEWPORT

HAMILTON PARK
The historic townhomes and brownstones of this neighborhood surround Hamilton Park, which provide its namesake. Bounded by Marin Boulevard, 6th Street, 10th Street, and Brunswick Street this is the northwest section of Downtown Jersey City. In this neighborhood you will find plenty of great dining options. The Pavonia Branch of the Jersey City Free Public Library is located on 8th Street between Monmouth St. and Coles St. For outdoor activities the aforementioned Hamilton Park is a scenic escape from the city with plenty of benches to enjoy the shade of the trees and shrubbery, a gazebo and fountain, and even basketball and tennis courts. Wednesday afternoons stop by the park for the HPNA Farmers' Market to pick up fresh local produce. There is even a skatepark/hockey rink on 8th street. All of this, like the rest of Downtown Jersey City, is just a short walk to the Path and NYC.

THE VILLAGE
Long considered "Little Italy" this area in downtown Jersey City showcases streets rich with a mix of historic and contemporary development. Tucked away in the western area of Downtown Jersey City, the neighborhood features many hidden gems. Pubs, restaurants, shops, and even the concert venue White Eagle Hall find their home amongst the historic row houses and newly renovated apartment buildings. Located close to the restaurants, shops and the PATH of grove street as well as Hamilton Park and Van Vorst Park, it may be quietly tucked away but it embodies the convenience and charm of Downtown.
